Easter Bonnet Contest on Pine Avenue 04/07/12

The Sandbar Restaurant http://www.groupersandwich.com, Pine Avenue Restoration http://www.pineavenueinfo.com , and the Anna Maria Island Sun http://www.amisun.com sponsored another joy filled Easter celebration on Anna Maria Island. The day began with 26th annual Easter egg hunt for kids 10 & under at the Sandbar. After the Easter egg hunt, the Easter Bunny (aka Anna Maria Island Mayor Mike Selby) lead a parade down Pine Avenue to the 3rd annual Easter egg roll, & the 2nd annual Easter bonnet contest. Refreshments were served compliments of the Sandbar restaurant. Jack Elka http://www.jackelka.com took photos of the kids with the Easter bunny.
